I have a beautiful glass vase-no idea what to put in it?
It is an oval shaped vase. It has a very large width and no height. What could I fill it up with to make it look beautiful? Almost like a boat shape.

lemons. real ones, or nice quality faux ones. very summery. in winter, pine cones. at Christmas, small colored christmas tree ornaments. all one color. in Spring, Summer, wild flowers or Gerbera Daisies. Shells (I have one in the middle of my coffee table with shells I have collected from all over - I live in a tropical climate - my friends love it) I put just a little sand in the bottom, then filled it with shells. It all depends on how your home is decorated. If you want something very very simple and elegant, use one large green silk or real leaf - clear marbles for silk, and water for real. Or a single silk Bird of Paradise and faux water...for a bright splash of color in a modern space. For a country or traditional look, use natural materials (pine cones, leaves, rocks, sticks) or small crabapples... or several packages of dried fruit or berries that you can find at your local hobby craft store like Hobby Lobby - also online.
