how do you restore blue ceramic ties that have been faded with bleach?
when they are wet they are fine but when they are dry there is a white misty finish on them.
Perhaps the surface has been abraded or finely pitted thereby refracting light rather than reflecting it. There's little can be done to bring back its original colour.
However, it's worth trying a wax based polish to help bring the colour up. I would suggest T-Cut, same as used on cars?
Let us know if that works please.
Stuart.
