Can an albino redtail shark be in with these fish?
I have a 180 gallon fish tank and I wanted to put in a 5'' albino redtail shark with these fish:
Clown knife 11'', needlenose gar 9'', lima shovelnose catfish 6'', iridescent shark 4'', pictus catfish 4.5'', 2 bala sharks 7'', tinfoil barb 4'', blue gourami 5'', gold gourami 3''. The tank is well planted.
I do not recommend adding any more fish to your tank. Even in a 180 gallon, the species that you have put in there grow to monstrous sizes (the clown knife and irridescent catfish mainly) and your tank will be very overstocked and crowded once these species begin to reach their true adult lengths. Not to mention, the clown knife and the gar are very predatory species, capable of eating things much bigger than small comet feeders--your gouramis may eventually end up as food.
I know it is a temptation to add more fish, especially when it looks "empty", but I implore you not to, out of good faith for your tank.
