How can I lower the water level in western toilet bowl so that I can clean the dirt formed under the water?
In my western toilet bowl I have some stains formed which are not going even after repeated cleanings. Is there anyway in which I can lower the water level so that I can clean the stain/dirt?
I tried pouring a bucket of water but that doesn't lower the water level that much.
I dont have anything to shut off the valve. Infact I dont find any valve
You should be able to use some sort of container to simply scoop out the water into a bucket.
But you may not need to do that. I have very hard and minerallly water that gets really bad stains and deposits on the inside of the toilet. I have been sucessful at getting rid of really bad stains and deposits by putting about 1/2 a bottle of toilet bowl cleaner (the liquid kind with the tilted neck on the bottle) into the toilet and letting it set overnight or over the whole day. I'll use the toilet bowl brush on the whole thing a couple times while it sets there. You may need to do this more than once (I had to do it three times in the cottage behind my house recently) but it should get the worst deposits out.
