Stick Butter and Butter from a tub. Is there a difference?
So I'm getting ready to make cookies and I just realized that I don't have any butter in stick form. It had to be softened anyway so would it be all right if I just measure out a cup of butter from a tub to use and soften that? Or will that mess up my cookie recipe?
It should be good as long as it say real butter. Do you mean whipped butter....if so that might make a difference in your cookie.
