Going to san francisco which of these two hotels would you choose?
Either the Mosser, or Joie de Vivre The Good Hotel - let me I need to book a stay.
Thanks!
Oh yes I'm a single guy -
I think each of these hotels are great! Both are environmentally aware and concerned about sustainability!
At Mosser, the entire hotel is smoke free. If you smoke this won't please you! It is also very near the finance/business area, so if you are coming for business, a great choice.
The Good Hotel, part of Joie de Vivre, not only is concerned about sustainability, but is also philanthropic. And it is close to nightlife activities!
I believe the Good Hotel may be slightly less expensive as well, but both are reasonable.
While you are in the City, you will find public transportation is better than struggling with a car - especially since you don't have children with you! Here is the site to use to list where you are and where you want to go and either when you want to arrive or when you want to leave. http://tripplanner.transit.511.org
This site covers the entire bay area, and give costs as well as schedules and transfer info and so on. You do not buy your ticket there. You get your info there and buy the tickets at the train stations, on the bus . . . or whatever travel service you are using.
Be forewarned - San Francisco can be cold at anytime of the year. The foggy air blows in off the ocean and cools it! So you will want to be able to dress in layers so you can keep comfortable whatever weather you get! You can go to the weather sites and get a 10day picture of the expected weather, but no guarantees that it will be accurate!
http://www.sanfrancisco.com/attractions/attractions.html can give you ideas about what to see in San Francisco - I know that wasn't part of your question!
If you enjoy theater at all, this is one of the brightest spots in the City

But if current events and politics bore you, this would not be right for you. They write new material daily! And their hats are what they are most famous for. You can check out the site to wee if it is for you or not.
Enjoy!
